As followers of Christ, we Seek others in our community, Serve their needs, Grow in the love of Christ, and Connect with each other

Pastor's Points

We wrap up our series on Belonging this week with the best news of all -- we belong to God.

Not only do we belong to God, but we will always belong to God and there is nothing we can ever do that can change God's love toward us.

The question is, then, if we believe that we are deeply loved by God no matter what, then how does that affect our lives? Does it change how we think of ourselves? Does it change how we think about others knowing they are also deeply loved by God and they also belong to God?

If we believe that everyone belongs to God, no matter what, then do we treat others like we believe it? If we don't, what we can we start to change?

How will you allow the Holy Spirit to transform you this week?

See you Sunday!

Pastor Emilee

Green Tip(s) of the Week!

“God saw everything that God had made and, indeed, it was very good.” (Genesis 1:10). We need to work to keep God’s creation good.

The United Methodist Church, on its website in Church and Society, Climate Justice, has suggested three things we can each do to combat the climate crisis.

1. Learn how your lifestyle and the institutions you are a part of are connected to the climate crisis….

2. Celebrate God’s creation in worship and discuss the climate crisis with others in your faith community….

3. Advocate for policies and practices that build a clean energy future and support frontline communities struggling to survive in a changing climate.
