Jesus, or Something Else?
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5
Our distinction should not lie in our adherence to some special creed, Christian culture, or religious forms. Our distinctiveness should lie in the dynamic of Christ’s life within us, within our marriages and within our families. All those around us should understand that it is Christ in us who determines our deportment and distinctiveness. We are no longer our own; we are His. Our conduct, our conversation, our character is to be a living witness that He has complete empowerment in our lives. This should be the badge we point to—oneness with our God! The death of the day-by-day reality of this truth—we are not our own but Christ living in us—has been our downfall and our fatal deficiency.
