JET INTO THE LEGACY OF NAZARETH ACADEMY AT NEW PARENT ORIENTATION

All new parents are invited to attend New Parent Orientation on Thursday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the NA Playroom. Meet the Admin Team, learn the traditions and legacies of what makes Nazareth Academy the home for your student to soar into a successful educational foundation. SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS FOR THE 2025-26 ARE AVAILABLE

If you opted out of the 1st Day School Supplies order, NA School Supply lists are available here.

Find your child’s grade-level supply list to ensure they have everything they need for a successful takeoff. School Supply Drop-Off will be Monday, August 11 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Summer Reading Information

Avoid the summer slump and keep those Jet brains sharp when you catch up on great summer reading. Please be sure to log each book on the Summer Reading Log provided. Both the required book and the completed reading log must be brought to school on the first day, August 13.

🎉 Bonus! Every student who completes the challenge and submits the reading log on time will be invited to our Back-to-School Reading Bash—a fun celebration to kick off a new year of learning!

📣 PE Uniform Update for 2025–2026:

Parents: Please note that 4th and 5th grade students will no longer need PE uniforms for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. You will NOT need to purchase PE uniforms for your 4th and 5th grade Jet. Students will not dress out and will remain in their daily uniform when they go to PE. ***This is for 4th and 5th grade students ONLY.***

Junior High students will be required to dress out and PE uniforms. Next week, a direct link will go out from BSN Sports for junior high students and families to purchase uniforms for the 2025-26. Shirts and shorts will be available to purchase in kid and adult sizes with direct ship to your home address. NA Front Office will NOT be selling PE uniforms any longer. The red shirt/short will not be available or approved as official NA Dress Code. More updates to follow. Please be sure to check our social media platforms and Jet Stream for more information.

Jet families,

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act was signed into law on July 4, 2025. The newly passed bill includes the creation of Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs), which will allow donated funds to be used for tuition scholarships. We currently accept scholarships from individuals and foundations and fully intend to continue doing so as SGOs are established.  

The Texas school voucher law is formally known as Senate Bill 2 (SB 2), passed by the Legislature and signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott on May 3, 2025, creating a statewide system of Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) funded with public money. 

Additionally, the state voucher program is scheduled to begin in the 2026–27 school year. While we’re awaiting more information on how the program will work, we haven’t yet made a decision about whether we will participate.

For the 2025–26 school year, it will be business as usual with no changes to our current tuition or scholarship processes.
