JetBlue Expands Transatlantic Service from Boston with Nonstop Flight to London Heathrow, U.K.'s Busiest Airport JetBlue today announced it is officially launching service from Boston’s Logan International Airport (BOS) to London's Heathrow Airport (LHR). The first flight departed Boston on September 20th at 6:17pm, while the first flight from London Heathrow departed today, September 21st at 8:25am. JetBlue's daily nonstop service is part of the airline's focus city strategy and its commitment to serve multiple London airports, offering New England customers award-winning service at low fares. London, among the most requested destinations from Boston, was the largest nonstop market not served until last month when JetBlue launched its service from Boston to Gatwick Airport. Last year, JetBlue launched its first-ever transatlantic service from New York-JFK to both Heathrow and Gatwick, London's largest and busiest airports, and this year in August JetBlue became the only U.S. carrier to fly from Boston to Gatwick. The carrier plans to grow its transatlantic presence this year with an additional Gatwick departure from New York starting October 29, 2022. Between JetBlue's New York and Boston focus cities, the airline will offer five daily flights between the U.S. and the U.K. by October. JetBlue recently announced it had secured permanent slots at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) for flights starting October 29, 2022, which secures the airline's long-term future at the iconic global hub. Permanent slots allow JetBlue to retain its presence and visibility at the U.K.'s busiest airport as it continues to grow its base of transatlantic travelers. Schedule between Boston (BOS) and Heathrow (LHR)
Daily service starting September 20, 2022 (Eastbound) & *all times local
