Acquiring members of your country club as customers can be just a
chip shot away. CC members love to show off their latest and greatest new golf clubs, putters, golf shoes and yes, jewelry.

Here's the plan:

Go to your local country club if you are a member and offer to provide A Token of Appreciation gift cards to country club members.

The country club can put the beautiful gift card presentation in the member's monthly statement and it can be sent at the beginning of December.

Each card is customized with the products and services that the jeweler wishes to feature.

IV. Partnering with car dealers


Car sales are booming so why not target new prospects based on the cars they buy. The jeweler supplies the presentation folder and gift certificate ($50, $100 or more) compliments of the car dealer.
Porte Marketing will create a mockup for you to show the car dealer and will guide you in your presentation to the VP Sales or General Mgr.
 
The car dealer/salesperson gives them to customers that purchase a car or they are given out in their service department.

The car dealer can include this promotional piece when they send out their Holiday Cards.

Glasscock Jewelers adds 180 new customers by partnering with two local hospitals

Barry Glasscock, owner of Glasscock Jewelers in Clinton and Warrensburg, MO, partnered with two local hospitals to distribute a $50 gift certificate to the health care professionals at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital and Western Missouri Hospitals.

The store delivered 810 gift cards folders to Golden Valley and 645 gift card folders to Western Missouri Hospitals.

Porte Marketing created the mockups for Barry to present to the hospital decision makers to get the marketing effort approved.

The human resource department distributed the 4" x 6" folded gift cards to the employees right before Thanksgiving.

This Porte strategy is an inexpensive way to target a specific group of health care workers that make a good living and are in a secure job environment. It also creates great word-of-mouth marketing since the employees who became customers of the store can communicate their shopping & purchase experience.

VI. Partnering with Restaurants



Partner with a restaurant where they give an offer and the jeweler gives an offer. The piece is created and paid for by the jeweler.

When a realtor sells a house they can give the new homeowner your presentation folder with a special offer to visit your store. All new homeowner's need a jeweler for their repairs and purchases. It appears as if the realtor bought the gift card from you store. It creates a wonderful 3rd party endorsement just in time for the Holidays or during the year.
