Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day

Come together for our community's annual Yom HaShoah commemoration. The commemorative service will commence at the Holocaust Memorial Park at the JCC at 6:30pm. At 7:30pm, join us at Beth Tzedec Congregation for our commemorative program, featuring a talk from the Canadian Society For Yad Vashem on this year's theme: The Jewish Family During the Holocaust. The Holocaust Memorial Park and sculpture, Ashes to Life, was donated to the Jewish community of Calgary in 1986 by William (Bill) Schwartz and Alyse Schwartz, each of blessed memory, in memory of their parents Louis & Regina Schwartz and Isaac & Celia Schwartzpel.
