Join Cantor Russ, Moreh Jonah, and your PJ Library friends for an interactive Havdalah experience over Zoom. We'll sing, laugh, and even do a scavenger hunt. Antisemitism: 76 Years After the Holocaust

Join renowned professor and historian Deborah Lipstadt, in honour of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Deborah is best known for being sued for libel by a Holocaust denier and whose story was depicted in the 2016 film, Denial. She will talk about Holocaust denial, antisemitism, and her ongoing experiences in combating them. This free event is in collaboration with the Calgary Public Library. From Sephardim to Mizrachim: A History of Social Categories in Israel

Dr. Angy Cohen gives a historical overview of the Sephardi experience in Israel, from the Sephardi intellectuals of pre-State Israel to their transformation into "Mizrahim".
