Jewish Community Foundation News April 2025
Happy Passover

Dear Friends,

Uncertainty. We are all feeling it. Whether the topic is antisemitism, government funding, civil liberties, the economy, or the evolving needs and challenges in our sister region of Sha’ar HaNegev and across Israel, this is the moment for our Foundation to be responsive.

Our "power" is in our impact through community,

collaboration, and convening.

As we approach Passover, we will reflect on oppression, redemption, and freedom at our seders. But to celebrate Passover is also to acknowledge the power of community. Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks (z”l) framed Passover as "a story of the defeat of probability by the force of possibility”. This perspective speaks to the immense power of collective action in the face of extreme challenge. I hope you will be inspired by the stories of community, collaboration, and convening we have highlighted for you in this edition.

We would like to Thank You for being a part of our community. What we have achieved together is extraordinary and we are honored to work with all our donors and partners every day to make the world a better place.

Wishing you a happy, joyous, and impactful Passover.

Chag Pesach Sameach,
