COMING UP: JCC SoCo

WINDSOR HOLIDAY CELEBRATION - JCCSoCo Tent & Menorah Dedications 


THURS, DEC 4 • 5 - 8PM 

Windsor Town Green


Come out to one of Sonoma County's largest holiday celebrations, and find community and fun under our tent!


ACTIVITIES - Ner Shalom's Nitzanim program and our JCC SoCo Preschool will have fun activities and creative take-aways for the whole family.


MENORAH LIGHTING - At 6pm we'll turn our focus to the nearby stage to light our gigantic menorah.


LIVE MUSIC - Sofia Fichera will amplify the cheer again with a live performance.


You won't want to miss out on this community convening. If you've been before, you know it's a PACKED event so we recommend you try the SMART train or coordinate parking at the High School and shuttle to our tent area directly.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF Sing-A-Long!

Originally based on Sholem Aleichem’s short story “Tevye and His Daughters,” Norman Jewison’s adaptation of the long-running Broadway musical is set in a Russian village at the beginning of the twentieth century. Israeli actor Topol repeats his legendary London stage performance as Tevye the milkman, whose equilibrium is constantly being challenged by his poverty, the prejudice of non-Jews, and the romantic entanglements of his five daughters.

Sonoma County's 2026 Yom Hashoah Commemoration


APRIL 19, 2026

Mark your calendar for this year's commemoration, taking place April 19th, 2026 at Congregation Shomrei Torah in Santa Rosa. 

 

This year's theme "Between Silence and Story" will honor the children of survivors, and their journeys.

THANKSGIVING SHABBAT

It is fundamentally Jewish to express gratitude. Modim anachnu lach, grateful we are! Come fill your cup at this Thanksgiving Shabbat service where we will welcome our friends from Christ Church United Methodist and celebrate the longstanding success of Elisha's Pantry. Shomrei Shirah, CST's choir, will combine with the CCUM choir and feature music reflecting on and inspiring gratitude. After the service, join us for a festive oneg. 


If you are able to, please bring a jar of pasta sauce for Elisha's Pantry's monthly food collection.

LEGAL OBSERVER TRAINING

B’nai Israel Jewish Center’s “Support Our Neighbors Task Force” invites you to a legal observer training class, taught by North Bay Organizing Project.

 

This training is designed to teach community members about how to serve as a legal observer for our immigrant neighbors and other at-risk people.

We're excited to invite you and your little ones to a brand-new, kid-friendly Shabbat experience led by Zoe Baruch. Join us once a month for Tot Shabbat, a warm and playful hour designed just for children ages 1 to 5.


We'll have stories, songs, and activities that help introduce our youngest members to the beauty of Shabbat and Jewish traditions in a way that's fun and engaging. Bring your kids, let them sing along, and watch them discover the joy of Shabbat in a welcoming and lively atmosphere.
