The Rose Blumkin Jewish Home: A Legacy We Proudly Carry Forward

As we prepared to open the new addition to the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home, we published a series of articles reflecting on our community’s rich history of senior care. To fully appreciate the significance of this milestone, the series looked back on the journey that brought us to this moment and honored the generations whose vision, dedication, and support made it possible.

We invite you to explore this special series and discover the stories, people, and history that continue to shape senior living in our community today.

Part 1: 1900 - 1950

Part 2: 1950 - 1990

Part 3: 1990 – 2010

Part 4: 2010—Present

Special thanks to the Nebraska Jewish Historical Society archives and the Jewish Press archives for providing source materials for this series.

We look forward to welcoming you!

RSVP is required.
