We're One Big Transnational Country Now In an unprecedented move, the United States annexed Europe today (4/1). Rather than tariff them into submission, our leaders decided it would be easier to make it the 51st state. As Randy Newman sang in Political Science, "They all hate us anyhow" so this was the logical next step. 😎

They're BAAAAAACK! Just when you thought it was safe to go to the Sphere in Vegas, Dead & Company returned in March for another 18 show run thru May. You'd think 60 years would be enough already but they just keep Truckin on & on ... 🎸

"And the Oscar SHOULDA Gone To ..." I saw the Bob Dylan biopic -- meh. Wicked? Visually stunning, weak plot. Didn't see the others but I don' know why Rule Breakers got zero buzz. It's based on a true story about an all-girls robotics team from Afghanistan -- go see it, then let me know if you agree it was the Best Picture. 🏆

March Badness in Japan The annual NCAA basketball tourney is always entertaining even without having a dog in the fight. But my Cubs have started off like dogs, losing their 2 games in Japan vs. the Dodgers while it snowed here -- not a promising start. 👎

War, Continued Israel 🇮🇱 and Ukraine 🇺🇦 continue their battles to establish peace in their countries. Global democracy is at stake here -- it matters to all of us. For humanitarian aid you can donate to the neutral International Red Cross here. ❤️
