First Annual Festival of Trees
The Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce partners with Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County to start a festival of trees.

The Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce and Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County combine efforts to present Festival of Trees this holiday season, starting a tradition they hope can continue into the future.

Participation in this year’s event, creates or continuing a great holiday tradition. At the same time, money raised supports Hospice to provide support and compassion for those they serve and working on many and for the Chamber to continue workforce development and assistance to the community.

Who doesn’t love a beautiful holiday tree? Imagine trees, each uniquely decked out in holiday cheer. This wonderful family tradition will be held at T&B's Celebration Center, 414 Madison Avenue, Skowhegan from December 3-5 and December 10-12. Hours Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10am - 5pm, Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10am - 8pm, and Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 10am - 6pm. Also Friday, December 10, 2021 from 10am - 5pm, Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 10am - 8pm, and Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 10am - 4pm

The Festival of Trees will provide an experience that the whole family can enjoy. Admission is just $2.00 per person. Purchase and drop your individual tree tickets (just .50 each) into the bucket of your favorite tree and you could go home with a beautifully decorated tree complete with all the gift cards and merchandise displayed.

Please join us for this wonderful holiday experience. Whether you visit to view the trees on display or are willing to volunteer some time to help staff the event, it will be time well-spent – and you will be helping support your community through your participation.

For more information about your business sponsoring a tree as part of the festival, go online to www.skowheganregion.com. A substantial number of volunteers will be needed for this event – if you are interested in registering as an individual or a group, please contact Julia at Julia@skowheganregion.com.
