Dear Friend & Supporter,

We are fast approaching the Holiday Season and the Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce is having its annual Jinglefest featuring 8 holiday events (Reindeer & Santa visit, Light up the Region, Holiday Photo Contest, Festival of Trees, Holiday Toy Drive, Spruce the sneaky traveling Chamber Moose, Letters to Santa & the Chamber North Pole)! This year, we need to continue to bring in some positivity and safe fun to the community and we want to give you the opportunity to help raise some funds for our Chamber and to promote your business!

We recently reached out to the North Pole and invited Santa and a few Reindeer to our Chamber North Pole! On Saturday December 11, 2021, our Reindeer & Santa visit will host two of Santa’s reindeer and the Jolly Man himself will be arriving at the Municipal Parking lot for some Holiday fun! Music will be here spreading holiday cheer! There will be a few food vendors, our Chamber North Pole will be open to Santa what is on your holiday list, reindeer viewing, and a safe place to get out into the community.
We want to open a portion of the event area up for local businesses to set up a table or space to promote their business, whether it be speaking and making connections with people or selling items from your business. Space is limited so please contact us for details ASAP!

SRCC is hosting a Holiday Toy Drive, where all donations will be kept in our region for families in need. We will begin collecting items Monday, November 29th at the office through Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Spruce the Chamber Moose will be making his rounds around our Member businesses beginning Friday, November 26 through January 3rd, excluding Christmas Day. Spruce will arrive in the morning and together we will place the moose somewhere in your business, we will take photos and post them on the Chambers Facebook page asking, “where is Spruce the Moose today?”. Giving hints throughout the day, when customers visit your business, if they can locate the moose, they would receive a small discount or promotion of your choice. We are in hopes that the search for Spruce the Moose will encourage shoppers to Shop Local and boost your sales for the Holiday season! With that being said, we are looking for Members who are interested in participating in this fun event, so please contact us ASAP!

The Chamber North Pole will be open to the public to visit Santa starting December 11th for a total of 7 days. This will give kids and families the time to meet Santa and let him know what is on their Christmas wish list. Even if Santa is not around, the SRCC office will have a table and creative letters available to write to Santa and a mailbox. We will be providing a safe place for all to interact. We will ask that people to follow cdc guidelines, providing hand sanitizer at locations throughout the event area, and we will be cleaning visited areas numerous times throughout the events to ensure the upmost safety along with fun for our community.

We are offering different levels of sponsorship, so please see the details below. These generous donations allow us to do more advertising for the events, raffles & prizes and more to make this a successful community event!

Thank you kindly for your continued support of our Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Sincerely,

The Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce and Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County combine efforts to present Festival of Trees this holiday season, starting a tradition they hope can continue into the future.

Participation in this year’s event, creates or continuing a great holiday tradition. At the same time, money raised supports Hospice to provide support and compassion for those they serve and working on many and for the Chamber to continue workforce development and assistance to the community.

Who doesn’t love a beautiful holiday tree? Imagine trees, each uniquely decked out in holiday cheer. This wonderful family tradition will be held at T&B's Celebration Center, 414 Madison Avenue, Skowhegan from December 3-5 and December 10-12.
