Fugitive Spy
Romantic Suspense by Jordyn Redwood
Jordyn Redwood is a nursing supervisor by night, suspense novelist by day. She hosts Redwood's Medical Edge, a blog devoted to hel
ping authors write medically accurate fiction. Her first two medical thrillers, Proof and Poison
,
garnered starred reviews from Library Journal.
Proof was shortlisted for the 2012 ForeWord Review's BOTY Award, 2013 INSPY Award and the 2013 Carol Award. Poison shortlisted for the 2014 INSPY and the 2014 Selah Award.
In addition to her novels, she blogs regularly at Redwood's Medical Edge
and the WordServe Water Cooler.
Welcome, Jordyn. If you could have dinner with one person from today or history (except Jesus) who would it be? I've always wanted to be able to sit down with Dean Koontz, who is an author I really admire, and discuss all things writing--particularly writing suspense.
What do you enjoy doing for relaxation? The best thing for me to do to relax is put in a suspense film or murder mystery show to watch and do some cross stitching.
What can readers who enjoy your book do to help make it successful? Posting reviews particularly to Goodreads and Amazon is always helpful. The best thing is to post about how much you loved the book on Facebook (with a photo of you and the book of course!) and then pass it along to a friend.
Please tell us a little about your novel, Fugitive Spy.
A spy with amnesia--and a mission he can't remember
When Casper English lands in her ER with amnesia, Dr. Ashley Drager learns he has a picture of her...and the same tattoo as her long-missing father. With a dangerous man after Casper, and his memories possibly holding the key to finding Ashley's father, she secretly whisks him away from the hospital. But can she keep him alive long enough to help him regain his memories?
Where can readers find you online? Website
Any parting comment?
Thanks so much for hosting me!
Jordyn, my pleasure to have you visit with me and my readers!
On August 25, I'll draw a winner from current newsletter subscribers on that date to receive a paperback copy of Fugitive Spy, which Jordyn has so graciously offered.

I recently read
A Daring Venture
by Elizabeth Camden, Bethany House, 336 pages, 2018
This historical inspirational romance is the story of a sweet, but tumultuous, romance between New York's newly appointed Commissioner of Water with his inherited wealth and a European biochemist. In the early 1900s, their mutual interest in water brings them together on opposite sides in a courtroom. She's working on a new solution to safe drinking water, while he remains skeptical of her proposed process. Regardless of their professional differences, they feel a strong attraction to each other. They both fight this attraction. The story is spiced with intrigue, danger, and suspense through to the last pages. Well written with evidence of excellent historical research. A Good Read.

A man walks into a lawyer's office and asks, "How much do you charge?"
The lawyer says, "$5,000 for three questions."
"Wow, that's pretty expensive, isn't it?" the man asks.
"Yes," says the lawyer. "Now, what's your third question?"
