Reporting to the Headmaster, Ridley College is seeking a Director of Development to play a significant role in helping to meet and exceed its ambitious fundraising goals.
As Director of Development you will lead a skilled and committed Development team in the preparation, implementation and management of a comprehensive development strategy program and plan for the school. This includes constituent giving, major gifts, planned giving, endowments, and capital campaigns, to support the strategic direction of the school. Additionally, you will lead all fundraising, public/community relations, and alumni activities related to the advancement strategy.

As the ideal candidate, you are an engaging visionary with strong strategic and conceptual fundraising skills. You are respected by peers and staff as a compelling communicator, a trusted and sought out partner and a highly effective motivator. Your capacity and commitment to drive fundraising/development growth in times of economic pressure and the flexibility and resilience to act as a public face for the school with current and prospective donors will be highly valued. As an experienced fundraising/development executive, you are known to set clear priorities, identify, coach and develop exceptional talent and rally your teams around a shared vision. You have a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. Possessing a CFRE designation would be considered an asset.
