Juice It Up! in Downtown Stockton
is seeking candidates for the following positions:
Store Manager, Team Manager, and Team Members
 
Team Member:
A JIU Team Member will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing all smoothie and juice bar items in an accurate and timely manner; assisting customers with product and nutritional information and selection both in the fresh squeezed juices and smoothies. Team Members will be required to handle and account for money using provided forms and procedures. Team Members will be responsible for memorizing and blending a wide array of smoothie and juice recipes, serving produce and juice bar items, having basic knowledge of produce, tracking spoilage and sampling, understanding spoilage and how it affects departments expenses, selling pretzels, bagels, healthy snacks, and herbal hot and cold teas All recipes will be blended exactly as written - consistent quality is very important. All JIU Team Members will be expected to maintain a clean and sanitary store throughout the day to include such duties as cleaning counter tops, fruit containers, refrigerator, freezer, yogurt bin, sinks, floor, and bathroom. There will be store checklists that Team Members are expected to follow. Team Members will also disassemble and clean equipment at the end of each day. Team Members will do basic inventory when needed.

Team Manager:

All duties described above. The Team Manager will have a minimum of two years, to include one year of leadership experience. The Team Manager will be required to run the entire store without guidance from upper management or owners. In most cases, the Team Manager will have access to the safe and be responsible for detailed handling and verification of cash. The Team Manager must lead by example, following all safety, quality, and customer requirements. The Team Manager will be required to manage inventories and Costs of Goods Sold to ensure maximum efficiency. Team Manager will be required to handle employees to include hiring, discipline, raises, recognition, performance documentation, and more (owner's approval is required to fire employees.) Team Manager will write performance appraisals and discuss employee performance semi-annually. The Team Manager may be required to conduct regular team meetings.
