Hometown:

Born and raised in Rutland, VT. Left for about 15 years, but happy to be back!

Family:

My girlfriend, Caitlin and son, Mason; Father; Sister, and a large extended family.

Pets:

Two dogs: a Chug named Cali, and a PITA named Sophie.

Pet Peeve:

Ranch on Buffalo Wings (this is a culinary abomination).

Dislikes:

Deceptive people, mosquitos, poor trigger/muzzle discipline, and Snowflakes.

Favorite Food:

If I had to pick one, I guess it would be a good cut of beef cooked rare. Mexican and Thai are way up there as well.

Favorite Color:

Green or gunmetal.

First Job:

Bottle Redemption Counting Specialist at Beer King...was also a Parking Lot Sealing Technician, Exterior Painting Manager, and Keg/Ice Hauling Monkey.

Guilty Pleasure:

Rye Manhattans and horror movies (even really bad ones).

Hobbies:

Biking, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, cooking, traveling; many interests but limited time.

Something everyone should know about you:

I value people that are honest and accountable.

Who do you most look up to?

My parents. They gave me every opportunity they could, even when they had to sacrifice in other areas.

Best advice ever received:

Trust your gut and learn to recognize when it's telling you something.

Best part about your job:

Every day I get to help others with the tools they need to do their job. Technology is constantly changing and evolving.

Anything else you'd like to share?

I hate shopping in general, so if I see you in a store and give a quick wave it's not because I don't like you, it's because I want to get out of there as soon as possible!

Safety Topic: Speeding

Any time you get behind the wheel - whether in your personal vehicle or the company’s - you should be mindful of your speed.

When you speed, you are risking not only legal repercussions but also the health and safety of yourself and those around you.

The average speeding ticket costs between $150 - $200 - and is even greater if you are in a school or construction zone. Those people in the construction zones could be your co-workers, and those in the school zone could be their children. If you are behind the wheel of a company vehicle, speeding is prohibited.

Speeding fines can also increase insurance premiums and liability of the company you work for and make it harder to acquire additional work.

Please do yourself and everyone around you a favor and drive at a reasonable speed.

COVID-19 Vaccine Standby List

Governor Scott recently announced that life could return to normal by the Fourth of July, if vaccine supplies are provided as promised.

While the Governor laid out the projected timeline for all age brackets, an end-of-day standby list has been implemented for those who do not yet qualify to sign up for the vaccine. Many people have seen great success getting vaccinated this way!

Jobsite Updates

New Job in Bennington

Congratulations to our team on winning another job in Bennington!

We will be removing and replacing lead water service lines this summer.

This project is partially funded through the Vermont Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, and we are looking forward to continuing our industry-leading work in that area.

Pittsford Salt Shed is complete!

Jeremy Fowler led the walk-through for our Substantial Completion Inspection for the Salt Shed in Pittsford.

Great job everyone who worked on this project!
