ORIGIN STORY: “I had always been into Batman and Spider-Man, but I had never read any of the comics until my Uncle Pat would give me comics that he didn't want anymore. One of them happened to be the 2013 Amazing Spider-Man #700, which has hooked me on comics ever since. I've always loved storytelling and drawing, so it only made sense when I saw that it was possible to combine the two to tell stories for the world to witness. There was nothing else I wanted to do in life besides tell a story through art. Even when I was younger, I would make my own comics, which I've held onto for years.”
ARTISTIC INFLUENCES:“Jim Lee was the first artist I ever took a second to look at, and he influenced my art from the very start. Jim Lee, David Finch, Gary Frank, and Jason Fabok helped define the base of my drawing skills, but Greg Capullo has to be my favorite of all time and, to my eyes, shows more in my art. Dan Mora and Ryan Ottley also have significantly impacted my art within the last year, giving it that extra push to professionalism, but of course, we can't forget that splash of [Joe Kubert School owner] Anthony Marques.”
FAVORITE GHOST MACHINE TITLE:“All of the titles that have been released have been nothing shy of excellent. From the storytelling to the art, it has all been high on the list of comics that have come out recently. My favorite has to be GEIGER. The compelling story and art by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank take it to new levels, and I couldn't be more excited to draw a variant cover for the character.”
