We are only a day away from this years’ Jog-a-Thon!!

 

We are halfway to our fundraising goal! A big thank you in advance to everyone who has set up fundraising pages and gathered pledges. It’s not too late to gather some last minute donations or create another post on your social media! 

 

Prizes! The class who raises the most funds will have a Pizza Party and the student who runs the most laps will have their name engraved on the Jog-a-Thon plaque in the School Reception (plus an Amazon gift card).

If you have some free time on Friday, please come down to Walt Hundley Playfield to cheer on our OLG Bulldogs! We are still looking for some volunteers

What to Wear? 

Friday is the first ‘spirit wear’ free dress day of the year. Embrace the theme – wear your event t-shirt, OLG spirit wear or athletic attire. Fingers crossed that the rain stays away – please do make sure that your student is dressed for the weather. The Jog-a-Thon is an ALL WEATHER Event!

 

What to Bring?

All student’s should bring a full water bottle clearly labeled with the students name.

 

Day of Schedule

For those of you who wish to cheer on our Bulldogs, please find the Day of Schedule below. 

  • 8:00-9:00 am Event Set up
  • 9:00-10:05 am Wave 1 (PS, PK, K, 1, 2, 3)
  • 10:15 am - Parent/Teacher 'Half-Time' Race (PS-3 will stay to watch; 4-8 should arrive on time to watch)
  • 10:35-11:30 am Wave 2 (4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
  • 11:30-12:00 pm Event Cleanup
  • Noon Dismissal - Pick up at 12:00 pm. EDC (Extended Day Care) for K-8 is open until 6pm, but you must sign up ahead! NO Preschool/Pre-K after care.
