We Launched The TCGi Foundation
In order to drive innovation, the IT industry must change to become more inclusive of women. We can change it one girl at a time until we can create a movement. The TCGi Foundation is part of that movement. We have begun our journey by supporting the educational goals of Black Women in technology on both the undergraduate and graduate level. The TCGi Foundation website offers resources to help Black girls spark an interest in Tech and continue with them on their journey from middle school through career.

We created scholarships for college students studying technology.
Our TCGi Foundation Scholarships at a glance...

The Foundation offers scholarships we created to honor our fallen teammates, John Fitzpatrick and Dawna J. Colbert. Outside of their incredible contributions to the success of TCGi, they also fully embraced our mission and commitment to increase the participation of girls, women, and people of color in technology. The TCGi Foundation, an IRS 501c3 non-profit organization, is committed to driving social change and increasing opportunities for girls and women in Tech.

The John Fitzpatrick Memorial Golf Classic serves as our fundraiser for the TCGi Foundation scholarships. Thanks to all who supported our inaugural effort.

It was a huge success! We will be commemorating Juneteenth every year with this event.

Derby Diversity Summit Ideathon
Congratulations to the five semi final innovators who were chosen to move forward in the Ideathon competition! Ideathon was a tech pitch contest sponsored by TCGi.

- C.J. Carter, The Hola Cannabi Group
- Valerie Combs, Anna Vaig
- Ace McGill, Value Buddy
- Susan Ojo-Fati, Positvely Plugged
- Courtney & Darius Pettway, KidVestors
And the 3 finalists moving to the next level are (drum roll) Hola Cannabi, a supply chain software platform for the cannabis industry; Value Buddy, an automated tool to determine a business’ real value; and KidVestors, a fun and compelling way to teach financial literacy to children.
The Ideathon was part of the Annual Derby Diversity Summit. Four days of seminars, panel discussions and fun for diverse businesses in the Kentucky area and all across the USA.
It wouldn't be the Derby Diversity Summit without going to Churchill Downs. Avis is watching the races.
