I also was attracted to serving and protecting our law-abiding citizens not only from criminals but from government over-reach that would violate a person’s constitutional rights.
How long have you been with John Jones Police Pursuit Vehicles?
5 1/2 years
What do you enjoy about John Jones Police Pursuit?
It's close to the profession that I served so many years with. I understand the needs, language and how to work with law enforcement managers, government officials and their budgets thus allowing me the opportunity to serve them better as an equipment provider for their needs. This translates to a more efficient sales process that gets things done and law enforcement appreciates. I also enjoy working with a great crew. I come from an entirely different world from sales and therefore it can be very challenging at times for me. I attack drama, do not have time for games and seek to find ways to get it done right and then move on. The team at PPV works together well from the very top on down and into the many facets of the law enforcement relationships and sales. I have worked for many Sheriff’s and command staff as well as been them. Including the political arena. Good leadership is often talked about by many but not always practiced. At the pursuit division, good leadership is practiced daily and by everyone there.
What are your goals for yourself and your career at John Jones Police Pursuit Vehicles?
I have already achieved my goals. I am enjoying only being responsible for me, life after law enforcement without the dangers associated and everything turning off at the end the day. Personal goals are to enjoy life to its fullest with my wife, and family along with hunting and fishing adventures around the U.S. and Canada.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Spend time with my wife and family. Hunting (Deer, Turkey, Pheasant, Grouse, small game, Elk, Mule Deer, Moose), Fishing (Walleye, Musky, Northern Pike, Large and Smallmouth bass, panfish, Saltwater) Shooting (handguns, rifles, shotguns), Reloading (centerfire precision rifle and big bore handgun), Archery (Mathews all the way!). Managing hunting properties for more fish and game opportunity.
