WHAT'S NEW?

Take a peek at the TC Burton Enterprises, LLC demonstration of the LD-1 ballistic armor and glass!

TC Burton invited us to attend their demonstration day to see how the ballistic panels found on the LD-1 ATVs stand up to real bullets! The ballistic panels have a rating of NIJ III, are compliant to NIJ 0108.01, and can stop up to AR-15 (5.56)and AK-47 (7.62) rounds.The glass panels are also UL-5, multi-shot rated.

What is your Law Enforcement Background?

I served for 22 years. I have served as a STOPS instructor, police bike patrol, SWAT Team Member, School Resource Officer, DARE Instructor, Assistant Chief of Police, and Chief of Police.

Why did you go into Law Enforcement?

I wanted to be a police officer ever since I was a kid. It gave me great pride to serve the community I grew up in.

How long have you been with John Jones Police Pursuit Vehicles?

A little over 4 months.

What do you enjoy about John Jones Police Pursuit?

I enjoy talking with the Chiefs, Sheriffs, and other public safety administrators. I can empathize with them because I was in their shoes. In a way, by working here, I am still serving. I can provide public safety entities with the vehicles they need to do their jobs. I take pride in that.

What are your goals for yourself and your career at John Jones Police Pursuit Vehicles?

To learn as much as I can, be a good coworker, and be someone that public safety administrators can rely and depend on to get them the vehicles they need to do their jobs effectively, safely, and efficiently.

What do you like to do in your free time?

My wife and I love to travel. We recently went to Scotland and London, England. We also have a goal to visit every National Park in the US. I am also an avid car enthusiast, especially sports cars. I like to attend car shows with my father-in-law and my friends. I also enjoy teaching my daughter how to drive. I used to enjoy riding my Harley, but I sold it years ago. I am hoping to get another one day.
