EVOLVE 117 Recap Highlights Of The EVOLVE Title Change, Debut Of Eddie Kingston & More

-Congrats to Austin Theory on winning the EVOLVE Championship last Saturday at EVOLVE 117. Theory shocked everyone by firing Priscilla Kelly as his manager after he won the championship. Theory is the face of EVOLVE going into 2019.

-EVOLVE and other WWN Family tickets will now be sold through Etix. Tickets are now on sale for EVOLVE 119 on January 18th in Brooklyn, NY, EVOLVE 120 on January 19th in Queens, NY and SHINE 56 on January 19th in Queens, NY.

-It was announced last weekend that Johnny Gargano would make a one-weekend-only return to EVOLVE at EVOLVE 119 on January 18th in Brooklyn, NY and EVOLVE 120 on January 19th in Queens, NY. This is sure to be a can't miss experience. WWE.com broke the news that Gargano will wrestle new EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory in a non-title match at EVOLVE 120. We'll have news on Gargano's opponent for EVOLVE 119 in the next WWN Alerts.

-New EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory and Darby Allin have signed new contracts with WWN. Leon Ruff has also signed his first ever WWN contract. Congratulations to Theory, Allin and Ruff.

-Eddie Kingston made a shocking debut at last Saturday's EVOLVE 117. Kingston has been added to all upcoming EVOLVE events. Curt Stallion made an impressive debut last weekend, and has been invited back. In addition, former EVOLVE Champion Shane Strickland will return in February.

-Mustafa Ali shocked everyone by pinning WWE Champion Daniel Bryan on Smackdown last Tuesday. It was only last month that EVOLVE fans were treated to seeing Ali in action at EVOLVE 115 vs. DJZ and EVOLVE 116 vs. Darby Allin. Ali gave an inspirational speech to his daughter in the middle of the ring at EVOLVE 116. His words mean even more now when you see how his perseverance and hard work paid off at Smackdown.
