As of April 14, Johnson County has:
44,735 positive cases of COVID-19 (increase of 43 since yesterday)
3.2% percent positive, 14-day average
83 incidence rate, number of new cases/100K persons, over prior 14 days, (increase of 3 since yesterday)
641 deaths (no additional deaths since yesterday)
243,761 individuals tested negative (increase of 496 since yesterday)
43,155 presumed recovered (increase of 53 since yesterday)

Positive cases represent those reported to the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment by physicians, private laboratories, hospitals and the Kansas Department of Health and Environmental Laboratories. Presumed Recovered are surviving individuals not hospitalized and more than 30 days since symptom onset. These numbers are not representative of the total number of individuals with COVID-19 in Johnson County. All data is provisional and subject to change.

VACCINE
Kansas WebIZ is reporting 1,617,994 doses have been administered in Kansas, as of 9 a.m., on April 14. This includes first and second doses. 1,019,650 Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose. This represents 35% of Kansas' population.
COVID-19
On Wednesday, April 14, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment provided the following data:
- 305,320 positives
- 4,944 deaths
- 1,038,713 negatives

The University of Kansas Health System provides daily updates on how COVID-19 is impacting our health care system and community.
On the Wednesday, April 14 episode, Catherine Satterwhite, regional health administrator for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, gave a regional view of the infection and vaccination rates. She offered her thoughts on vaccine passports and how to carry or care for your vaccination card.

JOHNSON COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER
On March 25, the Board of County Commissioners approved a new Public Health Order proposed by Local Health Officer Joseph LeMaster, M.D., and Johnson County Health and Environment Director Dr. Sanmi Areola. It includes requirements for physical distancing in public spaces and the wearing of face masks. The order is effective from 12:01 a.m., on Friday, March 26, through 11:59 p.m., on April 30, 2021.
