SEER2 is coming at us like a freight train, ready or not. It has been mandated that SEER2 compliance will be enforced starting January 1, 2023.

This means our manufacturers have been hard at work and have begun the roll out of the equipment necessary. These new rating codes required the development of innovative products that will be more efficient, but more expensive. Some, you may have already installed, like the nine-tap furnace.

Johnstone Supply has you covered. We will have all the products necessary for compliance and will not sell anything after January 1, 2023 that would get you in trouble. AND, we will work to keep dealers supplied in the legacy equipment until the transition is necessary. This will allow dealers to meet customer price points and get those price conscious customers installed now.

Hello everyone in the HVACR industry! Can you believe how many 100+ degree days we have had so far this year!! As of the day I am writing this article, San Antonio has had 42 days of triple digit days moving the city into 3^rd place for the most 100+ degree days. Johnstone Supply wants to briefly remind everyone to take caution while working in these high heat conditions. Please do all your Hot Work i.e., ductwork or equipment installation as early as possible before the day heats up too much. Do the best you can to stay hydrated to avoid heat exhaustion and take regularly scheduled breaks to cool off.
