Dean Dyatt is our in-house (and often in-field) Equipment Training and Service Manager. Dean has worked in many roles in the HVACR industry including residential service, commercial service, and restaurant service as a field service manager and as a full time educator, since graduating from technical school in 1981. His career has taken him from Southern California to Tucson, Arizona then eastern New Mexico, ultimately moving to northern Utah in 1991. His most interesting experiences were doing contract work at Kennecott where he's been to the bottom of the open pit copper mine to the top of its 1200 foot tall smokestack, plus most places in between. Dean has been with Johnstone Supply since 2011.
Dean's family consists of his wife Diane, son Michael, Michael's wife Sarah and two adorable granddaughters. Dean's a lot of fun, has a mind full of interesting random facts and loves a challenge. He's an avid runner and has completed over a dozen 100 mile UltraMarathons, including the Wasatch and Western States 100s.
As a longtime educator, Dean's greatest satisfaction is watching someone's "A-HA" light bulb moment. He's also an excellent resource for expanding technical knowledge and understanding, solving HVAC issues and helping our customers become more successful in their businesses. Dean's expertise is greatly appreciated and we're lucky to have him on our Johnstone Supply team.
