As we mark the 16th anniversary of EITC Awareness Day this Friday, January 28th, we invite community organizations, elected officials, state and local governments, schools, employers, and others to join the nationwide grassroots effort to increase EITC awareness.
EITC Awareness Day is a joint initiative between the IRS and its many partners and stakeholders. Intensive media coverage enables us to reach as many eligible taxpayers as possible, particularly underserved communities and newly qualified taxpayers.
