I want to share a really special opportunity with you. One of my dearest friends (and my college roommate) Izi is a scientist. A few years ago, she discovered a new treatment for brain tumors and now her team has won $2.3M in grant funding to run the clinical trial! She lives in Colorado, but she wants to celebrate this big win in Chicago. 

As you know, I have started a home nursing care and hospice franchise, Assisting Hands - Melrose Park, and it means so much to me to connect with the brain tumor community and find ways to support them. Please join us in celebrating the hope we have for these patients, and walk with us at the Annual Head For The Cure 5K. The event is from 8AM to 10AM on Sunday, October 4 at Diversey Harbor in Lincoln Park.

Numiera Therapeutics has just been awarded a prestigious $2.3M grant award from NIH to run our clinical trials for a new cancer drug. This is a massive step forward for our research program, and for patients with glioblastoma.
