We are beyond excited to share this special news with you that the legendary Monica Kaufman Pearson, Atlanta’s first woman and minority evening news anchor, Emmy Award-winning journalist, and beloved media icon, will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies for LEDI’s milestone 10th Annual International Life Changers Awards and Fundraising Gala on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 5:30 PM, at the Marriott Gateway Hotel Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, Georgia under the themed “The Time Is Now.”
For decades, Monica has been a trusted voice in our homes and a champion for community upliftment, empowerment, and development. With more than 30 Emmy Awards and a legacy of breaking barriers, she is not only a broadcaster, but a trailblazer, mentor, and civic leader whose story has inspired millions.
