Join Article II Commission member and BLUU elder, Dr. Paula Cole Jones, for a conversation about the proposed changes to Article II. 

The Article II Study Commission's work will culminate at General Assembly in 2023 with a vote on revised Principles and Purposes. Learn about the importance of revisiting and revising the Unitarian Universalist Association's Principles and Purposes, which were last revised in 1987. 

For this community conversation, we will be in Black Sacred Space. (The space is solely for Black folks.)

BLUU Havens are local, social gatherings for Black UUs. If you are a Black UU, or a Black person who shares our values of love, justice, and liberation, we hope you’ll connect with a BLUU Haven if there is one in your area.

In this new season, this New Year, we return to one another and to this Black Sacred Space. As part of a ritual of returning and reclaiming in this New Year, let’s come together and reflect on the idea of home. What feels like home to you? What leads you back home? What do you need to find home? Come, let us worship together!

BLUU's online worship services are Black Sacred Space in their entirety - by and for Black people, with the words and voices of Black folks across the diaspora - and we hope that Black UUs and Black UU-adjacent folks (who share our values) from far and wide will join us!
