America’s veterans all have one thing in common: they took an oath to protect and defend our country and our constitution.
Sadly, our country simply doesn’t always stand up for them. In Pennsylvania, for example, as many as 400,000 veterans are barred from voting in primary elections. Why? Because they identify as political independents, and in Pennsylvania independent voters are shut out of primary elections.
We think that’s wrong. That’s un-American. Ballot PA Vets – a bipartisan group of veteran leaders whose honorary Co-chairs are Steelers legend and Vietnam vet Rocky Bleier and Brigadier General (Ret.) Wilbur Wolf – is fighting to change that.
On Friday, September 30 join Ballot PA and our special guest, Veterans for Political Innovation founder Eric Bronner in Lititz, PA to hear why this national group of veterans has decided to endorse Ballot PA’s campaign to repeal closed primaries. The event is free and open to all veterans and those who support Ballot PA. You can RSVP here.
