ICI’s Center on Youth Voice, Youth Choice (CYVYC) will hold a kick-off session in our 4-part Speaker Series for Educators on Tuesday, April 30, at 4pm ET. The session’s speakers will include content experts from CYVYC and a young self-advocate who will share her transition experience.

CYVYC’s speaker series is for educators of youth and young adults with IDD who are interested in gathering information about the range of options for providing decision-making support. The series will review the facts and myths about these options, discuss ways to maximize youth decision-making and self-determination, and emphasize strategies and action steps to implement in daily practice.
