Office of Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez
Dear Friend and Neighbor,
I would like to invite you to a small swearing-in ceremony to be held in my uptown office (618 W. 177th St.), tomorrow at 1:15pm. As you played a part in making my last four years successful, I would be honored by your presence as we kick off the next four with friends, family and committed residents.
This is an exciting time in our city, as we have a diverse coalition of citywide and local elected officials committed to ushering in a new era of government committed to our city's working people and those struggling to make it. With their support and your support, I hope to play a part in realizing these necessary changes in the status quo: supporting early childhood education programs for every child in New York City; ending the practice of stop and frisk so that our communities can heal and rebuild the bonds of trust with out police; ensuring that those who work a full time job are able to provide for their families and themselves; and pushing for a New York City that provides opportunities for anyone to succeed regardless of their background.
I hope you can join me tomorrow as we begin this journey together toward a greater, more diverse and more open city for all.
Thank you and I hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Ydanis Rodriguez
Council Member, Northern Manhattan
