Filitalia International's Humanitarian Committee is responsible for our Annual Christmas Seals Program. Through this program, we have been able to support families through the world with clothing, money, food and gift certificates during the Christmas Season. We have been doing so since 2003 and will continue to do so for decades to come.
Through our expansion of Chapters throughout the world, we have been able to help hundreds of families a year through kind donations. Our annual "La Vigilia Feast of The Seven Fish Dinner" raises money and contributes goods that we use to distribute gift cards and donated items to families in need. Additionally, we are always receptive to take individual charitable contributions for specific families through the year (outside of the Christmas season).
In the event someone has a specific charitable request, please contact us using the form below. Our Humanitarian Committee will review and we will do our best to help out prior to the Christmas season.

The 38th Annual Gala Was A Smashing Success
Excerpt Message From Our President, Saverio Nestico During Gala
Welcome to our family of Filitalia International. Tonight, we open our hearts to you and invite you to be part of a community built on faith, culture, and service. For many of you, we hope this evening marks the beginning of a renewed journey—a journey to get closer to your Italian heritage and to celebrate the values that unite us.
Filitalia International was founded by a visionary man, Dr. Pasquale Nestico, whose dedication and passion for service, education, and preserving our Italian culture laid the foundation for the organization we celebrate today. Even he could not have imagined how far his vision would grow, nor the bright future before us. From one idea to a worldwide community, his legacy continues to inspire generations.
Our impact today is reflected in programs such as our Scholarship Programs, empowering young people to pursue education while staying connected to their roots; our History of Italian Immigration Museum, preserving the stories of Italian immigrants for generations to come; and our beloved Christmas Seal Program, which allows us to give back to those in need during the holiday season. These initiatives embody the heart of Filitalia and our motto: “Umiltà, Giustizia, e Onestà”—to live with humility, pursue justice, and act with honesty.
As we celebrate our 38th Annual Gala, we honor our distinguished honorees and the members who make our mission possible. I extend my deepest gratitude to our Board of Directors, to our Founder, Dr. Pasquale Nestico, whose vision guides us every day, and to Cav. Paula Bonavitacola, our 6th President and Chair of the Fundraising/Gala Committee, whose leadership and tireless efforts in spearheading this Gala have been instrumental in making tonight a success to celebrate some incredible leaders of our community and the entire Fundraising/Gala Committee that have done incredible work to make this years Gala the most successful yet!
There is a thirst out there for the culture, heritage, and traditions of which we cherish so much—and Filitalia is here to quench that thirst.
