The IMAA Professional Development Committee will be hosting a tour of Lehigh Cement Mitchell Plant & Quarry. The Mitchell K4 project is the construction of a new cement plant by Lehigh Hanson to replace the current plant in Mitchell, Indiana, which is more than 50 years old. The new plant will utilize the latest in technology and environmental controls, create skilled job opportunities, and better support their existing customer base in the Midwest while also expanding their reach in this growing market.

IMAA will provide a chartered bus ride from the Graduate Hotel in Bloomington, IN to Mitchell and back with a stop after the tour for networking at Salt Creek Brewery. All attendees MUST reserve a seat on the bus for the plant tour as this is an active construction site and space is limited. Lunch will be included with your tour reservation as well as drink tickets during networking.
