Wear your yellow Side With Love t-shirt and/or your MUUSAN lanyard and name tag! (If you don't have either but want to purchase them, send Reba an email at admin@muusan.org).
Look for your legislators in the hallway and rotunda, introduce yourself, shake hands and congratulate them, and tell them what issues you are advocating for. The best way to catch them is to line the hallway to their chamber between 9 and 10 a.m. (on the way to swearing in), or during lunch break before the joint convention.
Bring any fliers for your “causes” to give to your legislators. Meret will have copies of the MUUSAN Resolution in Support of Tribal Sovereignty.
MUUSAN folks will meet in the Cross Café at the Cross Office Building between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Meret is the coordinator, cell 207-838-2413.
At 9:00 am we will go to the State House and meet on the third floor in the rotunda between the House and Senate Chambers.
At 9:30 am, there will be a prayer vigil in the Hall of Flags on the second floor (just below the rotunda) by Neighbors Need ME, a faith-based movement for hope, housing equity, and home, whose housing initiative MUUSAN has signed on to.
Swearing in is at 10:00 a.m. We will greet our legislators on their way to their chambers and thank them for their service – and introduce them to MUUSAN.

It’s best to park in the free parking garage across from the Cross Office Building and enter the State House through the underground tunnel.
