Friends,

This Sunday, August 3rd, join me at Brooklyn Borough Hall Plaza for our International Day of Friendship, a free, family-friendly event celebrating our borough's diversity.

At 11:00 AM, a unity parade of flags will kick off at the intersection of Tillary Street and Adams Street, which will lead to the joining of hands around Brooklyn Borough Hall. From 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, participants will enjoy cultural performances from around the world and a taste of continental cuisine, along with family fun and giveaways.

I thank this event's sponsors, including AdvantageCare Physicians, The Coca-Cola Company, Grace Foods, Investors Bank and the United Federation of Teachers, as well as its partners, including the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, HealthFirst, Metro Fire Alarm Systems & Technology, the New York Daily News, PIX 11 News, Target and WellCare.

A copy of the flyer is below as well as attached here.

For more information, visit my website and our Facebook event page.
