The goal of this boot camp is to take you beyond receiving requests to join and have you begin leveraging the power of LinkedIn.

This in-depth LinkedIn Boot Camp will focus on helping you learn what LinkedIn is and how to use it effectively. It will give you everything you need to get connected with your clients, customers and colleagues.

In this “hands-on environment” we will review LinkedIn’s features and discuss how to make them work for you. You will be setting up your LinkedIn account, so get ready to get connected!

• What LinkedIn is and why you should be using it for business.
• How to create your own unique, branded professional profile.
• How to navigate all of LinkedIn's layers.
• How to make the right connections that will help you build your business.
• What to post and how to engage on other people's posts.
• How to request recommendations from your clients and customers.
Who should attend?

This boot camp is designed to meet the needs of people who do not know where to begin with LinkedIn. The course was created for those who consider themselves to be at beginner level with this social media platform.

Prerequisites:

  • Please bring your laptop.
  • You must have a working email address and know the password.
  • If you have a LinkedIn account, be sure to bring your password.
  • Bring your head shot or photo for your profile picture. You can bring these either on your flash drive, in your email or on your mobile device.
