Pioneers Change the World & WE Can Help!

As we shared in last week's newsletter, Innovation Academy has been selected (as a result of their service-based learning to address suffering in our community) to participate in the I CAN Global Summit in Rome, Italy in November. Out of 300 submissions nationwide, IA was one of the 15 selected! To negate the determination of participation on access to financial resources, $40,000 is needed to cover trip expenses.

As a chamber, part of our mission is to "build upon the educational foundations of the Triangle East region". This is an opportunity to do just that. Let's help the IA students bring their dream to life!

Please check out the presentation below to see how these amazing young people are working to impact our communities and then click here to contribute to their journey!

Congratulations to Grifols on Approval of Xembify!
Grifols’ product portfolio just got a little larger with U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval of Xembify, a treatment for immune deficiency.
The medicine, a 20% immunoglobulin solution for subcutaneous -- or beneath the skin -- injection, treats Primary Humoral Immunodeficiency (PI) in patients 2 years old and older.

Grifols plans to launch Xembify in the United States in the fourth quarter of this year. The company also is laying the groundwork to sell the product in Canada, Europe and other global markets.
