What to Expect Before the Final Approval of NAR's Settlement


On Nov. 26, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri will hold a hearing on approval of NAR’s settlement that would resolve nationwide class action claims related to broker commissions. The NAR legal team and Plaintiffs will be in Court to advocate for final approval of the NAR settlement.

The Steps Between Signing and Closing on a Home

Existing-Home Sales Grew 3.4%; First Year-Over-Year Gain Since July 2021


Existing-home sales climbed 3.4% in October to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.96 million and sales advanced 2.9% from one year ago, the first year-over-year increase in more than three years, according to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR).


Sales improved in all four major U.S. regions. Year-over-year, sales elevated in three regions but were unchanged in the Northeast. To read the full report, click below.
