Healthy Time Management:

A Positive Psychology and Transpersonal Approach

Friday, March 27, at 1:00 PM in Sea Biscuit

This interactive workshop explores time management through the lens of positive psychology and transpersonal theory. Participants will learn practical tools to develop a “balanced time perspective” that supports well-being, personal growth, and meaning—not just productivity. Drawing on research in flow, mindfulness, and time perception, the session emphasizes how shifting our relationship with time can enhance life satisfaction and reduce burnout. Attendees will engage in guided exercises from the “Quest for Presence” model to cultivate healthier, more reflective time use.

Improving Time Perspective through Daily Psychospiritual Journaling:

An Exploratory Pre-Post Assessment

Friday, March 27 at 4:30 PM in Frisco 6

This poster presents findings from a pilot study examining whether daily psychospiritual journaling can improve time management and time perspective. Grounded in Balanced Time Perspective and Presence Awareness frameworks, participants engaged in a structured “Day Crafting” journaling practice focused on key temporal qualities such as routine, rhythm, and timing. Results showed significant improvements in time management and reductions in fatalistic thinking, with certain journaling patterns linked to more positive time perspectives. Findings suggest that brief, reflective journaling may be a promising, low-cost intervention for enhancing well-being and time use, with implications for future research and practice.

Addressing Health Provider Burnout:

Live Online Group Coaching, Intervention, & Results

Saturday, March 28, at 8:00 AM in Frisco 4

This symposium presents findings from an innovative online group coaching program designed to reduce burnout and improve well-being among healthcare professionals. Combining evidence-based content with peer support and coaching, the program demonstrated increased access to resources, improved self-care, and heightened stress awareness. Panelists will share program design, quantitative outcomes, participant experiences, and clinical insights, highlighting how structured group coaching can foster resilience, connection, and sustainable self-care practices in high-stress professions.

Emerging Adult Schema:

A Self-Assessment/Group Discussion Tool for Mental Health

Sunday, March 29, at 8:00 AM in Frisco 5, CE Credit Opportunity

This session introduces the “Emerging Adult Schema” (EAS), a brief self-assessment and group discussion tool designed to support mental health in young adults (ages 16–25). Grounded in research on emerging adulthood and peer support, EAS helps participants reflect on identity, responsibility, and risk-taking while fostering meaningful dialogue and connection. The workshop demonstrates how structured peer interaction and guided reflection can enhance resilience, reduce stigma, and promote well-being during a critical developmental transition.

Disseminating Evidence-Based Approaches:

A Research to Practice Framework for Scaling Prevention

Sunday, March 29, at 10:15 AM in Frisco 3, CE Credit Opportunity

This workshop addresses the challenges of bringing evidence-based mental health and substance use prevention programs into real-world workplace settings. Participants will explore common barriers to implementation—such as limited time, fidelity concerns, and organizational resistance—and learn a practical framework for scaling interventions effectively. Drawing on two decades of applied experience, the session offers strategies for maintaining program integrity, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring measurable impact while adapting to diverse workplace environments.
