Everyone in our community deserves to live in a safe and resilient home. Many families in underserved neighborhoods do not have the means to pay for a new roof. Please consider making our neighbors safer before the next hurricane and for years to come. To mark our 40th year, the City of Houston, Harris County, Texas Legislature, and Governor of Texas all proclaimed May 12, 2022 as Rebuilding Together Day! Our celebration in the East End included presentations of proclamations and volunteer crews from our partners Reliant and Valero each repairing a nearby home.

Thank you to all of our VHRP crews who volunteered this spring. Your work to complete repairs for 21 families had a huge impact on communities all over Houston.
