God's Wants All Everyone To Be Saved

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Rom. 10:9-13).

The Lord desires for us to be saved. But how do we receive salvation? Scripture tells us that if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. And what does salvation mean? Romans 6:23 tells us, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” This invitation is extended to everyone, every person born into this world. Salvation is God’s gracious gift and His promise to all mankind.

There is no shame in believing in Jesus. In fact, living with Jesus as Lord gives life meaning, purpose, and hope. With everything happening in the world today, Jesus remains steadfast, unchanging, and true. Our ultimate dependence cannot be placed in people, because people are imperfect and capable of evil (And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Gen. 6:5 KJV)). But God is faithful. His Word is true, His promises are sure, and He never changes.

So, put your trust in Jesus. He is the One who can save, sustain, and lead you through every season of life.

In His love and always FOCUSED on Him,

Our Weekly Prayer

This week's prayer is offered Rev. Ellery Hunter. Let's join him as he prays for us. Rev. Hunter

Moving Forward

The people of Israel were tired. They’d been wandering in the wilderness for 40 years. They’d fought with enemies and among themselves. They were grieving the loss of their leader. They’d been eating the same meal every day, but God spoke and said, “Arise! It’s time to take what I’ve promised you!” From the banks of the Jordan River, it was time to look ahead. It was time to move forward. Today, we may find ourselves in

a similar place. Tired. Tired of wandering, tired of conflict, grieving lost loved ones, and stressed out, but God’s Word to Joshua and His people is the same to us today - be strong, be courageous, and move Forward.

Let's pray:

Almighty God, our Creator, we honor You as our Lord and Savior. You are our deliverer and our defender. Even as the world seems chaotic and full of turmoil, we know that You will protect us and keep us. We depend on You, our Father, to help us in troubled times, to comfort us as we mourn, and to provide for us all that we need. Right now, we recognize that You have given us promises of a brighter future, a future that is ours to take. So, we receive Your Word to Your people as you told Joshua. We answer Your call to arise, be strong, be courageous, and move forward. We know that we aren’t

going alone. Our faith and our strength are in You, God of heaven, because You said, “for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9). In Christ name, we pray, Amen.
