We are pleased to invite you to join us for our Q3 Behavioral Health Divisional Group meeting on Tuesday, August 22, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM for a presentation on 'Violence Against Healthcare Workers: Unfinished Business". We are excited to welcome Lisa Tenney, BSN, RN, CEN, CPHRM, FAEN, Senior Risk Management, Patient Safety Coordinator, and Patient Experience Coach at Holy Cross Hospital, who will share insights on the current status of violence against American healthcare workers and what is being done to minimize it. There will be time for Q&A and opportunity to discuss and share ideas on how to create a safer workplace for healthcare workers and support ongoing efforts to address this issue effectively.

Lisa Tenney has over 45 years of hospital bedside nursing, education, and leadership experience in a variety of specialty areas, including emergency, psychiatric, med-surg, critical care, quality, risk management, patient safety, and patient care experience. Lisa has been a member of the Maryland Emergency Nurses Association since 1983 and has been their Government Affairs Committee Chairperson since 2017. She is passionate about injury prevention and the safety of patients and staff. Lisa is a certified emergency nurse as well as a certified hospital risk manager. She is a fellow in the Academy of Emergency Nursing.
