Public Meeting - Feedback Session - Artist Reception

Public meeting and Feedback Session will be immediately  
followed by a reception for this year's Artist Fellowship winners. 
All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

The NJ State Council on the Arts will convene a brief public meeting on Tuesday, February 13th at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, jointly hosted by Mana and the International Sculpture Center. The meeting will include Council committee reports, presentations by the meeting hosts, and announcement of the 2018 Individual Artist Fellowship recipients. Immediately following the meeting, the Council will conduct the third of four public feedback sessions to inform the Agency's new long-range strategic plan. Special thanks to  Carole A. Feuerman, artist and ISC board member for hosting the afternoon's celebratory reception in her Mana studio.  
The event is free and open to the public.

The New Jersey State Council on the Arts, created in 1966, is a division of the NJ Department of State. The Council was established to encourage and foster public interest in the arts; enlarge public and private resources devoted to the arts; promote freedom of expression in the arts; and facilitate the inclusion of art in every public building in New Jersey. The Council receives direct appropriations from the State of New Jersey through a dedicated, renewable Hotel/Motel Occupancy fee, as well as competitive grants from the National Endowment for the Arts.
