April 2026

As spring brings a season of fresh beginnings, your support has the power to create change for children across Fairfield County! Imagine a child waking up for school with no clean clothing to wear, forced to wear clothes that are tattered, torn, or wearing clothes that do not fit properly. The families we serve are financially in need and/or in-crisis, and often unable to afford buying essential, seasonally appropriate clothing for their children. The lack of comfortable, clean clothing creates anxiety and stress for children, and can affect their ability to focus at school. At CTKF, our goal is for every child who shops in our store to experience the joy of refreshing their wardrobe. When kids feel good about what they wear and how they look, they are better equipped to succeed academically.

Behind the scenes, our volunteers have been busy transforming the Clothes To Kids of Fairfield County store—replacing heavy winter layers with spring clothing. CTKF is able to provide clothing to children season after season because of your generosity. Through your continued support, children in need are able to take home clothing that is clean, comfortable, and fits their personal style. This spring, your donations provide more than just clothing. They also enable children to feel confident as they finish up the school year. Help a child step into a new season worry-free, and donate today!

CTKF Happenings

Behind Each Outfit Are CTKF Volunteers

CTKF is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Our volunteers make it all possible! From sorting and organizing donations to transitioning seasonal clothing, categorizing by size, and filling CTKF's store racks. Their dedication keeps our mission running. Our volunteers have worked hard the past few months in replacing winter clothing in the store with spring items. CTKF is grateful to have volunteers who care so much about making a difference in the lives of local families. Consider volunteering with CTKF, there are numerous ways you can give back!

Shop & Support: WEST Boutique for CTKF

WEST Boutique of Westport was kind enough to donate 15% of all sales to CTKF on March 26th. The donations from this fun day of shopping and giving back will help us provide clean, new or almost new clothing to children who need it the most.

SASO Volunteers in Action

CTKF’s Corporate and Educational Events Coordinator, Lisa Savone, recently welcomed volunteers from SASO (Student Athletes Serving Others), a Fairfield-based mother-daughter service organization, to help sort through boxes of donated clothing. Guided by a shared commitment to service, SASO works to inspire girls and their mothers to lead while making a difference in their communities. We are grateful to Lisa for leading this effort, and to the dedicated SASO volunteers for their time and energy in helping organize clothing for the children we serve.

Thank You Bombas, Undies Project & Soles4Souls!

Bombas generously donated new pairs of socks, new underwear, and new t-shirts. The Undies Project also donated new pairs of underwear, while Soles4Souls donated some amazing new pairs of sneakers. CTKF is lucky to have received such amazing donations of essential items. A CTKF wardrobe not only includes tops and bottoms, but it also includes brand new underwear and new socks, as well as a new pair of footwear. These donations help us meet the need for these important items. Click the button below to learn more about the items we need the most.

Young Leaders, Big Impact!

Saturdays are for the student volunteers! CTKF is lucky to have the interest and enthusiasm of local students eager to make a difference. The students are a huge help with organizing donation items. On the weekends, they dedicate their time to CTKF. We are so grateful for their helping hands!
