Private Foundation Fundamental

10:00 to 11:00 am P.T.

Virtual Event

In my practice, I am frequently asked about private foundations. Yes, they are charitable 501(c)(3) organizations, but they are subject to some rules that are unique from other 501(c)(3)s. Why is there a distinction? What are some of those key rules? And how can planned giving officers better understand and steward private foundation donors and individual donors who are also involved with their own family foundations? This session will be beneficial to any planned giving officer, whether brand new or seasoned.
