Transfiguration Sunday
Please join us for services at 8:30 or 11 as we celebrate Transfiguration Sunday! Our scripture this week is Matthew 17:1-9 and tells the story of Jesus going up to a high mountain with his three most trusted friends and being transfigured there by the mysterious presence of God. "Transfiguration" means a total transformation in appearance and form! The Message translation says that Jesus' appearance changed from "the inside out, right before their eyes, and sunlight poured from his face." You won't want to miss hearing this amazing story and experiencing some of the mystery of God yourself through worship. It won't be the same without you!
