Twilight Camp Brings Summer Fun and Lasting Memories

This past week, Scouts from across Greater Los Angeles Scouting came together for an unforgettable adventure at Twilight Camp! It was the perfect mix of fun, learning, and creativity, all wrapped up in the spirit of Scouting.

Campers tried their hand at new activities like archery and swimming, building confidence and learning safety along the way. Imagination took flight as they expressed themselves through art and hands-on projects, showcasing their unique talents and creativity. Whether splashing in the pool, hitting a bullseye, or creating something new, our Scouts did their best every step of the way.

Twilight Camp is more than just an activity; it's a place where friendships are made, skills are built, and memories are created that last a lifetime.

Sebastian Lopez: A New Chapter in Service Begins

We are thrilled to congratulate former Explorer Sebastian Lopez on officially becoming a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy!

Sebastian’s journey began with the Los Angeles City Fire Department Post 81, where he stood out as a dedicated and driven Explorer. Through his time in the program, he demonstrated leadership, service, and an unwavering commitment to bettering his community. Now, as he steps into this new role with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, we couldn’t be prouder.

This milestone is a moment of pride not only for Post 81 but for the entire Greater Los Angeles Scouting community. Seeing our Explorers turn their passion into purpose is what Scouting is all about.

Congratulations, Deputy Lopez! Keep making your Exploring family proud, you’re an inspiration to all who follow in your footsteps.
