Recent budget proposals threaten to eliminate billions in healthcare funding, putting 1.5 million New Yorkers at risk of losing insurance. These cuts would especially harm children and youth who rely on Medicaid for critical services like family/youth peer support, therapy, mental health care, and substance use treatment.
